"Tasmanian Internet" - Shutdown

I've just twigged that my beloved Tasmanian Internet otherwise known as CeeFax is no more
It was so much easier just to flop on my sofa, press a button, and there you were. No waiting for the signal to stabilise, no plowing through pages of dross and 'special offers', no listening to vapid reporters. All quite civilized
While by no means comprehensive, it gave you a snapshot of what was going on and at least a 50/50 chance of getting a weather report that was almost right.
So, Vale CeeFax. I hope your bandwidth goes to good use!

They dont. You press send, a fax is sent to someone with internet access, they type the text to the web, and the reply is sent as a fax back to the originator, civilised.

Just Kidding Peter .

BTW, just love your signature quote Trevor, I have cut and pasted that so many times
