sunset this afternoon at Wallsend NSW

the colour was spectacular, thats about the only positive things about the cloud situation.

Stu,

these are not process or altered at all, just converted to fit on the site. the colour was a treat. I have submitted it to NBN tv for their weather shots segment, I have had 3 photo's shown in the past few months.

Opps, the camera was a PENTAX *istDS with a 18-125mm sigma lens, iso 400 - I think

here is a little competition for you, there is a huge dust moate in the ccd, can you find it in the pictures?

Every time I use the camera for a bit if astro work I end up with one of these things on the ccd, then when i take a normal terestrial shot I notice that I have extra bits. i should have cleaned it before I used it, but the skies changed so quickly I didn't have time.

Nice pic's!! there, dont you just love these lovely
bright blue clear days only to find mr "C" sticks it's
nose in right about mid afternoon only to disappear
around 5am the following morning.
