Brisbane at night, from Southbank

Hi all,

We had a family trip into Southbank last night. I took my camera gear so that I could get my image for this months Photo Competition, and I also took a few shots of the city and the new pedestrian/cycle bridge (Kurilpa Bridge). I was playing around with a new ND8 filter to try and smooth out the water - hope you like the effect!

Thanks for looking.

Cheers,
Stephen

Nice work Stephen, they make Brisbane look very glamorous! Does the NDx8 filter reduce the exposure by 8 stops, or is the 8 referring to 1/8 light transmission, meaning 3 stops?

Cheers

Dennis

Thanks Dennis.

I believe the ND8 transmits 1/8 of the light, i.e. 3 stops. I'm looking forward to trying it with some dawn/dusk photos of waves breaking on rocks. And it will be useful for waterfalls as well, if we get some rain...

Cheers,
Stephen
