Thanks Trev

I have a copy of this and I am currently at the Radio Astronomy School (21 - 25 September) here at Parkes.

What an absolute blast to be at Parkes everyday for a week!

Cheers Petra d.

How is the course going, Petra?

Are you converted to radio astronomy? If so, have you advised Dave yet that you are installing a large dish on top of your home??

Hi Rod

Im absolutely loving the course! Tonight after dinner at the Dish - we listened to Ray Norris presenting a talk on (Aboriginal Astronomy).

Some aspects have been hard going, and some easy but overall - not enough to convince me to start building a dish (yet!). It been good to have exposure to a different aspect of astronomy.

Cheers Petra d.

Glad to hear it is going well, Petra. Will you be at IISAC? If so, I look forward to hearing all about it!

For those that are interested in the lectures that were presented at the Radio Astronomy School at Parkes please access the link.

I encourage you all to attend the next school - if this is your interest. I enjoyed it and would highly recommend it!

Sorry Rod - no IISAC for me - I have been grounded from camping due to severe bronchitis.

Cheers Petra d.
