Smile Thunderbirds over Townsville

The US Airforce aerobatic team, The Thunderbirds, are in town for our annual airshow and they've been doing some practice flying this arvo. Me and my brother have been outside with our cameras, getting some piccies!!!

I'll post them here as soon as I download them off my camera!!

My first thought on seeing your pics was "Gee your sensor is clean".
Nice pics of Birds in Flight Carl.

Great shots Carl, with some lovely detail in the 1st two photos. Airplanes in flight are quite a difficult subject to get just right!

Cheers

I'm pretty meticulous when it comes to keeping my cameras clean. Any optics for that matter.

They can be a handful to keep in focus, Dennis. But it just takes a steady hand and some luck

Went inside just after they all landed and then a C17 came in. Had the camera stashed away by then...pity, I would've got an ace shot of it in flight!!!
