Not sure if this is the answer you are after, but I did see an episode of Grand Designs (it was on Foxtel, but I think the show is on the ABC also), and this slotted wood was used to build a house - like in kit form. The big BUT - the material was sourced from Finland!
They mentioned in the show the wood was laser cut to get the exact lengths required. This allowed for the computer design of the home to take into account the positions of the doors/windows/etc.
I mention this because I noticed in the photo after the main shed was assembled, there appears to be very little wastage, which makes me think this was a custom design order, more than buying the wood "as is" and build to suit. While the pictures of the build are interesting, a bit more material details wouldn't have gone astray on the website.
