have yet to decide which...

Yeh those storms.. I was hoping to view Saturn and Titan tonight and "dream", imaging I was there watching Huygens descend..

in case you re all wondering why the sun is out again, I went to andrews communications after work today (2pm) and they were closed... what shop closes at 12:30 on a saturday for crying out loud!

oh well.
I had decided on 2" superwide GSO too.
next saturday I'll get up early (10am) and get one as i am not working

And yep glad the sun is back out, I got some ToUcam video of the huge sunspots.. And it might be clear for a bit of dark sky tonight!

I just had a look at the site... either a 30mm in 2 inch or the 15mm which only comes in 1.25"... which do you think i should get first. i'll prolly get both eventually but it'll be a while before i get the second one.

Ving, I have the 20mm and I’m very happy with it. I posted this on the other forum don't know if you saw it. Just my thoughts and I still haven't had a chance to use it in the Meade Sct yet.

(I used my 20mm GSO Superview in the 12" Dob on M42 and Machholz the other night and I must say for a cheaper Ep I was very impressed, the eye relief is my only concern it's only just long enough for me. The 15mm has less eye relief than the 20mm so I won't be going down that track. There was some distortion in the outer 20% of the image but not to bad as to spoil the view. I really can't wait to try this Ep in the f/10 Sct.)

ving's intention to buy equipment coupled with my intention to show my boys Saturn this weekend did the trick...

Just buy one of the eyepieces ving and get this weather over with early in the week...
