Jupiter from September 6th

The seeing was supposed to improve as the night went on but it didn't seem to very much. But, I took one last image of Jupiter and it turned out pretty well. I probably could have stayed out a little while longer if I had known it was getting better after all.

I posted both pics for comparison. The image scale is different - the better seeing pic could stand an enlargement. Enjoy!

Really nice Dave, excellent detail. I actually prefer the 1st one for contrast and detail.
