Last night to party

After 11 days of holidays tonight is my last party night. Back to work on Monday so an early night tomorrow.

Unfortunately not one minutes observing over the whole 11 days. I really feel cheated but all I can do is wait til the skies clear and keep on partying for my last night of holidays.

I have a 350D modded that I have not yet used in the 4 months that I have had it. This was my big chance. Lucky I didn't buy a $10,000 CCD. I would be really annoyed.

Clear skies to everyone in 2010 and keep on looking up.

Frank

Yep, same boat. Back to work on Monday after couple weeks off. Even managed to get a few days away south of Taree, would have been nice and dark but instead lots of rain

Thanks Dave, I knew you would understand.

Wrote some new songs while the rain came down.

Yes a good time to write. I asked Ian Gillan about the weather and writing years ago and he pointed out that "what else is there to do but play and write or go to the pub".
Makes sense how good some English rockers are and how bad the weather is.
Try the Firebottle into a 2x12 cab with a SM57 on axis 3/4 away from the centre of the cone and a large diaphragm condenser (in reverse phase) 2 feet from the rear of the cab.Compress the sh1t out of the 57 line and half that on the condenser. With the EQ scrub anything over 6K and boost/ cut 80-100HZ for body then play around with 2.5K for presence in the final mix. I find a U-47 Neuman is great but hard to find these day's.
Also, run it all through a Neve class A strip or such software (it gives it "that tone").
