I have one MEADE 60mm Refractor for sale. Model DS 60. with tripod, eyepiece tray and drive motors etc.
FL = 700mm, F ratio = 11.7.
The Scope and accessories are in need of a clean, and the rack and pinion focusser has worn teeth at both extremeties of the focus travel. This wear on the teeth doesnt affect focussing when used with the Meade diagonal as the focus then adjusts away from the worn teeth area. I will throw in the MEADE diagonal with the scope.
I will also throw in a Meade MA 25mm eyepiece....see images.
It also has some visible wear around the mount edges.
The electric Alt-Az mount works via a 12 volt mains the included adaptor / converter which drops the voltage to 12 VDC.
The two motors and the hand controller all work well.
The scope may be more suited to terrestrial use but could possibly be used as a finder on a larger scope if it was seperated from the mount.
It could also be useful as parts if anyone has a scope with the same hand controller and motors.
NOTE: There is no electric focusser on this scope.
I am asking for $80.00 for the lot if anyone is interested.
