Hello I shot these images around the 18/8/2009 .Standard EQ6 Mount 70mm Guide scope .200x800 F/4 Reflector.Hutech 450D.Badder Coma Corrector.ISO 800. All 3 Exposures 8.5 minutes.I shot the images in Raw Mode. The Camera had the High ISO noise reduction on .as well as the Long Exposure Noise reduction on.Still Learning to Process images. They are only single shot Exposures. Tony
Very nice Tony, As only single shot images may I suggest you back off a little on the saturation and the colour will be better. Now for the next step, Take lots of the same image and stack them up. This will reduce the overall noise level and increase the amount of signal you have to work with when processing.
Good luck and keep up the nice work.
As suggested, loads more frames, and perhaps try taking your own dark frames, rather than allowing the camera to take them. Also, I'd probably disable the noise reduction, too.
