Filter help for planet viewing

Hi everyone,

I'm having trouble viewing Jupiter, the darn thing is just too bright for me to view it for any length of time without stuffing my vision and hurting my eye.

I tried using mymoon filter but I lost a lot of detail, is there a filter available that will reduce the brightness and maintain the detail?
