OK, I have succumbed to the "fever", and the MN76 is definitely for sale.
MN76, with 1/7th or better optics. 7" f6 in a handy package, ideal for deep sky viewing/imaging, as well as ridiculously high power lunar and planetary viewing/imaging.
Comes with stock finder (8x50), rotating tube rings, and Moonlite CR1 focuser (I replaced the agricultural Russian focuser).
Basically new condition, apart from the focuser upgrade.
Dovetail rail as part of the package is for the G11 saddle.
I have used this scope on a G11, as well as a Takahashi EM200. It is about 13 kgs, so needs a substantial mount, but something like the EQ6 would be more than adequate. I have also used it very successfully in a dobsonion base, and apart from real high power, or imaging use, this is possibly the best way.
New, these are US$2500, plus shipping, plus GST. I am open to offers and would like to see this go to a good home, (but it ain't a giveaway VING!!!).
