13-14/08/09 Jupiter

In a rare "australian" good seeing I captured this near IR Jupiter with my Watec 100, R photometric filter and a Sky Watcher 250.

Regards

Nice Jupiter. Looks very similar to my. This watec has propably similar chip parameters as my QHY5 mono. Will be also a color version?

Hello Rick01. Not, the watec is a modified surveillance camera with a video output. I have two QHY5 for to test it, the first one in colour and the other mono, but I not have achieved good results yet. The Watec seem a more "friendly" camera for me...

My next step is a Watec 120+ and a set of RGB filters.
