I know the ISS was over around 25 degree's ALT at around the same time, slightly orangey colour.
I know you said near straight up, but it was at the same time.
Travelled from NW to SE, peaking at 25 degrees near S.

The iridiums, by HeavensAbove website said there was only flares this morning.

Had a check on Starry Night. Seems there was an Iridium in the area.

Iridium 2 went from S to North, peaking a few degrees East from the zenith.
It was in the tail of Scorpius. Should have happened around 18:57:30 local time.

I stepped outside sometime after 6 and instantly saw a satellite going South to North, 5 seconds later I saw a meteor going East to West. And a few seconds later I saw another satellite going the opposite way, North to South and parallel to the other sat with about 10 degrees separation. Wow a very eventful few seconds.
