How big is it! At 1 kg this is nearly twice the weight of the Ethos 13mm.
On my 12 inch DOB, the Ethos 21mm would give a magnification of about 70 and true FOV around 1.4 degrees.
Amazing! Surely, they've reached the limit for a 2 inch EP.
I wonder what its entry price will be?

Regard, Rob.

As near as I can estimate it will be priced at: One arm plus 4 toes or a first born male child!

amazing times we live in while I'd love to own one of these as I'm finding my 22 t4 an almost perfect f/l in my 12 ".. thankfully for the wallet weight will stop me .

The weight jump from a 27 panoptic to the 22t4 I found to be huge
in my scope (450-680 gms) .

Like to look through one though

At 1kg, it's the same weight as the 31 Nagler.
Both are lightweight compared to the 1.36kg weight of the Meade 30mm UWA or the 1.42kg weight of the Celestron 31mm Axiom LX.
I may not recall correctly, but I think there's a Rodenstock (sp?) 40mm that's even heavier.
At 1kg, you have to be very careful about balancing and have a stiff focuser.
