LPI and K3ccd

As it appears that the LPI does not work very well with Vista, does anybody use the LPI with K3ccd tools?

If so, do you have to purchase the software or can you use the free trial software?

I want to use the LPI for taking avi files. Any other freeware that can be used?

Frank

Hi Frank. From memory I had a deal of difficulty getting the LPI to work with K3. I can't even remember if I was successful. However you might try downloading virtualdub and try the vid recorder that comes with that. Its a bit of a challenge to work out where all the settings are hidden in VD but once its worked out its a pretty good bit of capture softward. Cant promise it will work with the LPI though. You could try Craterlet from Stark Labs.

You can use the download fully functional V3 for about 35 days (frrom memory) or vers 1 indefinately if you download the new key every 45 days.
