Lagoon and Trifid on a 5 out of 10 night
Hi Guys, Last night started out reasonable enough to try some Imaging but it soon ended up in tears with clouds quickly rolling in at about 1am.
Anyway I got in a few shots of the Lagoon and Trifid in a wide field, consisting of only 8 frames at 5 minutes @ ISO 500, with the Tak and canon 5D (Modded) camera, auto guided, with Lights and ICNR on, processed in Image Plus, and touched up in PS2.
The evening was windy, and I did detect some high haze, so the result is probably not that good, but have a look anyway, and see what you think, thanks.
Leon

Many thanks guys, I can be hard of late the weather has been the worst we have had for a long time, so we have to try at any reasonable clear night.
Your comments are appreciated.

Very nice Leon, would prefer a little more colour saturation, but as Alex said above it's up to personal taste.

Thanks Barb and Dave, appreciate your comments, yes, I have to agree, some like it with more saturation, but I tend to go for the more subtle colouring, but that is just me.

Thanks Doug, yea mate, I'am pretty happy with it as well, and that's what really matters,
although it was a pretty poor night seeing wise.

Too right Leon, if it makes you happy that's what matters, besides who wants to take the perfect shot first time with no need to ever revisit that object again.
Never imaging the Trifid again!!
Great shot of a lovely patch of sky.

Looking good Leon and nice colours
It will never be perfect because everyone has a different taste, as long as you are happy with it, it is perfect

I'm pleased that all you good people have commented and consider this image worthy of a post, many thanks indeed,
now if the weather improves who knows what may be next.
