MZ3, Bug and NGC 6337 planetaries

Hi all
With clear skies and being on a sat night I had a long imaging night last night.

First cab off the rank is the final Menzel planetary, MZ3, the Ant Nebula. Its surprisingly brignt in HA so used 5 minute subs instead of 10 mins.

Next is the Bug Nebula. 3x5 mins

Finally the longest run of the night, NGC 6337. 7x10mins.

Ive shown a full res. crop as well as full frame views. All taken with modded 350D camera, Baader MPCC coma corrector and Idas LPS filter. 10 inch f5.6 newtonian. Off axis hand guided as usual. Temp around 10 degrees. A real planetary nebula fest

The detail in the bug nebula is astonishing! All your images are fantastic Scott.
I wondered what you could have captured that night. The NAS side-walk astronomy viewing on the Newcastle Foreshore happened to be a great night for viewing too, obviously nothing like what you had seen but we were lucky enough to view Saturn side on which was great as well as Titan but sadly too few people showed up.

Thanks all. It was a rare good night for imaging. The first part of the year was terrible with lots of cloud. It was so good to get a run of clear nights with no moon about.

Hand-guiding. I really, really admire your patience.

That last target is mind boggling. I want to see what happened to cause such an intricate object.
