There are a few stars in a globular cluster...

Up close and personal. This is a portrait of Omega Centauri.

Telescope: Intes Micro Alter M703 @ 1206mm FL
Mount: Celestron CGE
CCD: QHY8 OSC
Location : Southern Hemisphere
Acquisition: AstroArt 4.0
Post-Processing: Maxim DL 5, Photoshop CS3
Exposure: 1 hr with 5 min subs

Data acquired remotely and post-processing by yours truly.

Yep nice shot, well processed. Its a mobile remote observatory? Ive not heard of those yet, only lightbuckets and Gras that use fixed observatories.

Lovely work there Emanuele. Nice resolution to the core with pleasing star colours.

Mobile observatories are so 1983...but its good to see they're making a come back.

As far as the mobile remote observatory goes, I call it mobile because it moves a few feet before it is polar aligned!

Very nice image Emanuele, I would like to see a much bigger image but this is what we have. All looks very good on this one, guiding, colour, Focus and noise are all very well handled. What I would expect from a remote capture.

Very nice indeed.
