Two brand new matched 12" DSO (Mark Suchting) f/5 mirrors

I have two Deep Sky Optics (Mark Suchting) matched focal length 12" f/5 mirrors, each 42mm (1.6") thick, fine annealed pyrex with quartz overcoat for sale. Mark will vouch for a 0.95 Strehl ratio, and knowing him it may even be better.

Neither mirror has ever seen first light. Each mirror comes in a purpose-built jarrah carrier that completely protects the mirror for transport and whilst in storage.

I'd prefer to sell these mirrors as a matched pair, as they were carefully constructed to be by Mark Suchting, but may separate later on if absolutely required. It would be a great pity to do so, but hey.

I'm looking for $1,200 each - firm, plus shipping from south western Sydney. These are premium mirrors and are absolutely worthy of the asking price, and Marks undeniable reputation is anyone's peace of mind in regards to their quality.

Thanks for looking.

I can vouch for the quality of DSO (Suchting mirrors)...superb. Only reason why I don't grab at least one of these is I already have similar.

Good luck with the sale,

Clear skies

Sutching Mirrors

Hi Chris,
Are these two mirrors still for sale. If so a friend and myself are interested as we have been discussing making a large binocular. Please let me know.

Thanks, Alan.

Sale Pending on both mirrors... thanks Alan and Clayton

Great to see that they're going to a great ATM home, and will be used in a set of binos - for which they were always intended. Fantastic!
