Dune

Just back from a many weeks tour in the Simpson Desert. This dune was a standout.

Picture taken with a Canon Powershot A2000 IS set on 'Landscape'. I am no photo whiz!!

Colours are real, no touch up or enhancement.

I'll let you guess about the dark skies.......

Wren,

Beautiful colours.

I really like the first photo with the saturated colours, and the ridges in the dunes forming triangles all the way to the summit. Just lovely. Reminds me of something you'd typically find in a (70s) Pink Floyd album liner notes booklet.

Regards,
Humayun

A beautiful pair of images.
The colours are so rich.
I'm with H. on the reference to Floyd.
