Well we all know what astro toys you have and seems IIS is over populated with males What about cars, hot rods etc........ Do you own or working on one? Or whats your dream car? Or is astronomy breaking the bank already to have another very expensive hobby in cars
Im a bit of a rev head myself my mum has a dodge charger its gonna look awsome when its finished and she also has a 1940 ford hotrod that looks really cool and my dad has an old classic 1953 american ford
this is my dream car check out the chrome on that woohooo 1958 Corvette Not sure i would really go pink though maybe red or black
It's a bit of a pity to see such a rare and classic car ruined by that oversized monster in the engine bay and an ugly roll cage fitted. I hope it's a fibreglass replica.....

Very seriously thinking of finally getting me one of these.....while not the F355 still some serious wheels.
Go for it ! They are good buying at the moment, an '88 can be got for peanuts out of the UK.
I am lucky enough to be driving a 996 Carrera 911 4S convertable. Absolutley NO good for taking a scope to a dark site.
LOL! If we're going to get into this.... this will hopefully be my next car. I've been eyeing them off for a year now, and will make a "go/no go" decision shortly. I don't have a SWMBO any more, so stuff it! Mid-life crisis time. A bit quicker than the Land Rover I'm told...

Supercharged V8 time.
I must be mad.
No SWMBO ! That makes toys a LOT easier to get. Go for it Chris
I like the new Maserati GT Trevor. It's a good car by all counts so far - so much better than the simply horrible and disastrous previous model.
If we're in to video promos today - here's one I like for the Jag XF Coupe due shortly: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pkJOQIGk5GA - a bit flashy, but quite well done too. I'm going for the 4-door saloon simply because it's half-sensible and can fit people comfortably. LOL!

Just wondering which models you were alluding to Chris ? the 80's and early 90's models. I've been lucky enough to have a track day at Barbagallo raceway with several maseratis and have driven the Gran Turismo, the Quattroporte and the 4200 very fast around the track and they are all a joy. I might also be lucky enough to have a 4200 Spyder in my garage which is a delight to drive. Their driver engagement is so much stronger than many other sports cars I've driven.
hi Jen, this is one of my cars that l finished restoring last year, 1970 HG Monaro. original purchase price $3800, insured agreed value now $110,000.
it certainly helps to be in the trade.
Peter, I'm referring to the '02-'06 Coupe. Great engine, lousy gearbox and very unsure handling - so say most sources out there. I might have spoken too soon, but was not the Gran Tourismo a re-development of the Coupe?
