Powered observing sites near Melbourne for astrophotography

Hi guys,

Whilst I get my head around constructing a 50-100amp re-chargeable battery set up for remote location viewing, is anyone from Melbourne doing any astrophotography from a powered location site no more than 2.5 hours from Melbourne?

Has the ASV Leon Mow dark sky site have power yet?

Snake Valley maybe?

Or has anyone found something like a caravan park site with power and minimal light pollution?

John.

I know that Snake Vally has power to its new, nearly finished observing and imaging area.
It probably would be a good idea to contact the organiser of the Snake Vally Astro Society and he will advise you on how to go about it.

I will PM the info

The skies are black out there, i have been there many times. as I live only 20 minutes form their site

Leon
