My daughter gave birth to a baby girl on Saturday 30th May. Both doing well. Stats 8.4lbs or 3.7kg and 52cm long.

jjjnettie her name is Grace Violet after her great grandmother who was Violet Grace. She has very light blond brown hair and olive skin. According to her mum very pretty.

Here is a picture of my daughter with her turbo charged 4WD. I just added a picture of myself to show she does not look at all like me.

I agree jjjnettie a quite correct observation can cause no offence. My daughter and I were separated for thirty three years by unfortunate circumstances beyond my control. When she first looked at the picture of me that I emailed to her when we made first contact, the reaction of her and all her friends was that there was no need for a DNA test! She has met nearly all of her new thirty four first cousins and eight uncles and two aunties that she did not know she had. This of course includes a new grandmother.
