M42 Longest guide yet 157 secs wow.
I guided it for 157 seconds and held it together... It was like sweating blood.. do I quit while I,m ahead was all that was going thru my mind. Standard 300d Canon camera, at prime focus 80 x 400 mm ar on 150 sn illuminated reticle lxd 55 mount 157 sec Shot iso 1600 wish I had gone 800 iso but I didnt think it would guide good enough (still sorting stuff ) I have little processing software this is untouched other than min basic contrast/brightness etc And I have shorter exposures for detail of the burnt out Trap area but I cant patch them satisfactorialy yet..if ever

Far out thats a fine image. The best ive managed to pull off ended up looking like a bug had flown at the lens and couldnt pull up in time.
