M20 and M17 - 20th June

Well yesterday was a bit topsy-turvy with the weather. Was supposed to head out to dark skies, but the weather looked to be crap. As it turned out, the clouds cleared and the winds died. Around 11pm, as a consolation, decided to set up in the backyard. Managed to get a couple of objects in before getting to bed around 4:30.

Both objects imaged with the ED120 at ISO800 with the 400D (plus Deep Sky filter).

M20 - 9 x 8min
M17 - 8 x 8min

Cheers!

You piker, missed one of the stillest nights I have seen at the house. Wish I had my C14 with me. Jupiter was just begging me to image it, but no big scope.

Seriously, these are nice images mate. Maybe this coming weekend.

Great images and wonderful colour. It's always nice to get imaging done when it looks like there is no chance.
