The New Focuser from hiOptic for the ED 127

well it arrived last week in the post and now with help from Houghy its installed

picture below shows the old and new side by side

obviously no first light thanks to the weather but
first impression is that while it is very well built the coarse focus is actually not as smooth as the old focuser.However the fine focus is smooth enough

I like the lock mechanism I felt that with the old focuser there was slippage so hopefully this cures that issue

Oh and one annoying thing..I had to remove one screw before the whole assembly fit into the custom case
not a big deal but...
