Vivid Sydney - Part 2 of the Festival

I'd like to share with you my second and final part of the Festival series.
The Luminous Festival was part of the larger 'Vivid Sydney' - Festival of Lights.

Here you could walk around the harbour foreshore following the exhibits along the way from the Opera House to Observatory Hill.
Massive crowds made it quite hard at times to take photos and a lot of the time I had to wait a long time or come back later at night to get the scenes I wanted without the crowds.

Some of my favourite photos are of 'The Bench on Observatory Hill' and 'Rainbow Wall'.
The 'Crowd' shot captures the mood and atmosphere of the festival well too I think.
The Rotunda was quite hard to capture because of the constantly changing lights and patterns.

I hope you enjoy the images, I'm trying to learn a little basic web design as I go so I can present the photos in an enjoyable manner.
Please click the icon below to view my Vivid Image Series.

Best Regards
Andrew

Absolutely fabulous portfolio. Both thumbs up.

Amazing photos Andrew.
Only wished I'd had more time to see the western side.
HDR does a great job of brining out the detail.
Thanks for your kind words
Cheers

Hi Andrew

An inspiring portfolio showing your technical mastery of the medium, not to mention showcasing your advanced skills in web design and presentation!

Cheers

Dennis

Thank you for your kind words Barb and David.
Glad you saw Part I as well.
I decided to split them in two parts because the first session was all of the Opera House and Luminous while the second part was of Vivid - around The Rocks and was taken in subsequent trips down to the city.
I wasn't planning to go back after the first time but there was just too much to see in one go.

Much appreciated Dennis, thank you.
I've been dabbling in basic web design lately but it's all very new to me.
