Just received my lastest copy of Stamp Bulletin. Australia Post will release three new stamps Stargazing: The Southern Skies. These will be issued on 25th August and will be $0.55 Sombrero Glx. M104, $1.45 Reflection Neb. M78 and $2.10 Spiral Glx M83. There will also be a mini-sheet of the three stamps issued which will also include a specially minted $1 uncirculated coin.
A Pre-stamped envelope ($0.65) featuring the IYA 2009 logo will also be released, either mint or postmarked 1st day of release from Southern Cross W.A. 6426.
For those who want to spend a bit more, there will be 1oz. silver proof coin 2000 yr. Astronomy for $89.50.
