12th August 08 Jupiter and Io transit

Hi all,

I am sorry if some don'e like reprocessed images; this image would have to be from my best imaging session of last year and with the reprocess IMO it is slightly better than my image of 9th April this year for detail.

Incredible image, Lester. What's not to love about that?

So many small spots well resolved. That's a beauty to remember.

This Jupiter is amazing!
In Australia you are very lucky, your area promotes good seeing, we Italians are very envious of it. Hubble image Congratulations!

Thanks for posting this Lester,

A stunning image superbly processed.

Lester, I think there is just so much to learn about processing that reprocessing old data is a most valid thing to do as your processing skills evolve.

This image may have been previously posted but I bet this version is an improvement.

Well done
Regards
Trevor
