3 planets at the beach

I was also out in the pre dawn hours, in chilly 8 dg conditions, to check out Mercury with Venus and Mars.

Wow I love this type of shot.
Great work Liz, I love these dawn/dusk colours, and here you've captured them beautifully !!

I really like the labeled image too.

Liz,

I rarely ever look in this forum, but, I'm glad that I did -- wow, that's stunning. You got just enough exposure to get everything nicely without blowing the stars or planets out.

I'm with Andrew, I really like the labelled shot. Look at that, Pleiades coming up in the morning. Fantastic!

Thank you.

Regards,
Humayun

Yes, am very lucky to live where I do ... dont know if I could be bothered hopping into the car and driving to a good spot.
Whereas, I just wander down the beach in my PJs and jacket!!

Nah ... Pallaranda is in Town, where I am at Saunders Beach, about 30 minutes north, so darker skies

I know you and Mike have to travel in the early hours for pics but they can be worth it ..... though Mr Possum was probably close to your house!!

That last pic Liz looks like the scorpion is going to dive bomb your place.
Cheers Kev.
