Rho Oph. Region with Moon

I managed to get some images of the Moon on 05-06-09 with the 300mm lens. Cloud has interfered each time the Moon gets close to the Antares area. So I fudged this with PhotoShop. Moon is to scale and orientation and about where it will be at 2pm today as seen from Melbourne. By tonight it will be out of the picture to the right. This gives some idea how large an area this image shows.

Interesting alright Bert, now I have to ask is the Moon superimposed on the Image of Rho Oph.

I expect one would not be able to image this region as you have done with the Moon that bright.

Bert, is the Rho image a mosaic? kinda looks like two panels.

Yes it is a mosaic. There is an earlier thread in deep space. Here is one I did not notice until now. See below.
