Pony Club 13.6 ?

It has been so long since I have had it out.
I was wondering if anyone else (read esp with a key) was considering a trip to the Mountain tonight?

I know sunset is 4:53 and moonrise is 9:45 so that only gives about 4 hours of viewing.
But that is 4 hours of viewing! (maybe)

And I am getting a bit edgy.
And of course there are no guarantees what next week will be like.

Just thought I'd float the idea.
Al

I understand your edginess Al! I feel a deep yearning after a disappointing SPSP weatherwise.

While it may be sunset at 4.53, astronomical sunset is not for another 1.5 hours after that - leaving us only 2-3 hours to observe before Luna becomes an issue. For me, that's not long enough to justify lugging my scope all that way etc. I am very keen for the following weekend, though!

I hear YA Al, I set up at home last night & got about 1-1.5 hours of not bad seeing (tried out a new NPB filter ) until that high cloud came over. I reakon I'll do the same tonight, Its tempting but it's home for me tonight.
Cheers Phil
