Oh Boy! Oh Boy! Oh Boy! It's here, it's here!

Oh Boy1 Oh Boy! Oh Boy!

I just got me mits on my boyhood dream scope: a Coulter Optics Odyssey II 17.5" Dob!

Thanks very much Andrew (aka Labradors).

I had a tiny window last night to give it a bit of a fang: Jewel box, omega Centuri, 5128, Sombrero, eta Carina, Saturn, M42, bang, bang, bang. I couldn't believe how easy it was to hunt them down with a juicy big finder and such fire power, .

Pink and green filigree in M42, COLOUR, yes COLOUR in Saturn's clouds.

I'm salivating something wicked to take it bush, .

Dismantled she just fit into my Mazda Tribute, with a shake of pixie dust.

I got my kids to start painting and drawing on the box to enthuse them and give them some ownership in the Big Sucker. It was great sharing this with them, .

Now, after much design research, I'm ready to pick up the tools to give Her a new appearance.

Mental.

Hey Jen, what did you do with the green emoticon for envy, or the gritting teeth one?

Enjoy!

Grits teeth & walks away

Cheers

Alexander...when are you going to learn to express yourself? Why don't you tell what you're really thinking?

Congrats mate! Sounds like your new scope has found a good home!

Al.

Hey Alex, that's great. Can't wait to see it. I'm sure Peter's (hickny) home-brew will make the seeing even better if we can see it at Randwick

Alex, that is fantastic. You didn't mention anything about it the last time we met I can't wait hear all about it and to see it.

Adam has hinted at a get together and I know Geoff will be keen new moon is around two week away. The home brew will be cold just like the weather.

Congratulations Alex on the new arrival. Don't get the kids too enthused about the decorating lest they decorate the mirror in your absence.

Am I vertically challenged or is this vertically challenging?

My wife said when she first saw it: 'Where the blazes are you going to put that "Thing"!'

My reply was 'What a lovely problem to have, eh.'

I'm hoping to be let back in the house tonight, . The laundry floor is cold.

Ahh, the things we have to put up with.

She looks fantastic!
All you need now is Argo Navis and ServoCat and she'll be perfect.
