Dark sky observing nite

well its raining again,no observing this weekend, here are two pics from

last new moon,we had the local Brissy club come to enjoy the dark

skies of Taromeo, the A.A.Q members enjoyed themselves.

If any Brissy Based ice in spacers would like to visit, they would be

welcome.

Has anyone built a central column for EQ 6,i have a central pillar for one mount

But have bought a EQ 6 last year, its good except for the tripod

if any one could advise me,that would be great, its a real

step backwards having to use a scope on a tripod

regards Chris

What a nice looking spot there Chris.

It looks like the perfect night is upon you there with no clouds to be seen
aint it good when that happens.

Cheers Kev.
