CWAS Astrofest combined with Parkes Telscope Open Day.
Hello All I attended the CWAS Astrofest at The parkes Telescope Open Day . Considering how bad the weather has been . The Weekend Was Brilliant a bit chilly in the morning but 2 perfect Days.I will post some more images of the Weekend. I attended the Astrofest Dinner Saturday night.The David Malin Awards were great to watch .

From what I have been told about 7,000 people Visited The Dish at the Weekend.

Mrs R and I were driving from Brisvegus to Melbourne, and as usual we pulled in for a look at the dish, - wondered why the car park was full, and then got in on the last dish tour of the weekend!
It was a fantastic experience, and one more item off our bucket list!
(and after seeing what they do to change the collected frequencies, I'll never complain about wiring up the stereo again.)

. Thanks for your thoughts on the event .One Fellow Travelled 5 hours to the Dish for The Tour etc.then at the end of the Day Travelled another 5 hours to get back home.
