Back From Victoria Trip

Hey All,

Did any one miss me? ............ ..Oh!

My Sweetie had never been to a football game at the hallowed ground of AFL. The MCG. Last Friday we "Virgin Blued" to Melbourne.

Purchased several bargains at the Victoria Markets. Lunched at a nice restuarant and dinner party'd at my Sister's and Brother in law's.

Saturday enjoyed the Bribane Lions beating the stuffing out of the Richmond Tigers.

Ofcourse to complete the trip we drove north to my favourite fortified wines area. Rutherglen. Memories and fine wines.

The weather, uncharacteristically mild, cloudy or overcast at times but fine.

Jet Star back to Brisbane last night (Monday)

To all the mothers, I missed wishing you all a good day. I trust you mothers did have an enjoyable Mother's Day and one more nice memory to the collection.

Hey Marty, welcome back. Good to see the trip to Vic was crowned by a visit to God's own country - Rutherglen. Campbells Liquid Gold and Tokay mmmm YUM!!

You should have rattled Queen Jen's cage while you were down there, she's been a bit quiet lately.

Yes, it could have been interesting to beat the cage door down of Queen Jen's castle. I was a little sqeamish of the moat monsters. Swan Hill, just too far to go with only a 4 day visit and two of those are travelling there and back. (Friday and Monday). Not to mention having to lug all that weaponry to stop the queen from confiscating my toys.

I bet when the Green Wonder finds out that I was close to her castle, and did not pay my respects, my name will be "Mud". The fighting emoticons and the stick pokers will be on screen for sure.

Hey jjj,

What Lismore Bloke says about the Tokay, Liquid Gold etc is true. It is sweet and tangy and deliciously more-ish. If a fortified can be described as having a wow factor this is the area that produces it.
Hmm. Should that read YUM Factor? I leave it to you jjj insert Yum if you wish.

I was sure I would have got a bite from Jen. I was even concerned that her computer was down again. Maybe she missed the post?

My computer monitor went blank on the 13th. I've now upgraded to an LG LCD 22". Its huge and clarity is great. CRT types have certainly died at the hands of LCD monitors.
