NGC5128 widefield

Using an external aperature stop on the 300mm f2.8 lens from Bert, I got this image of NGC5128. Stopped down to around F4

16x10 mins ISO400. LPS filter. Modded 350D.

Full size here

Just starting to pick up extended areas of NGC5128. Rather windy during the run.

Beautiful image, Scott! a touch of noise still present in the full size image, how many darks did you use? Despite this, the focus is tight, great guiding, heaps and heaps of tight tidy stars and 5128's halo showing through brilliantly.

Well done!

Very nice Scott. Looks a little on the bright side but still very nice.
