First moon for a while

I thought I'd bring the old 200mm newtonian out from its dank closet for a run tonight. It hasn't seen the sky in nearly 2 years. It was still in decent collimation, if not exactly perfect, and the only thing cloudless was the moon for a little while earlier this evening. The mirror was no where near cool yet, but you have to get what you can while it's there I guess...

Anyway - all good fun!

Hi Chris

This is an extremely sharp capture of the moon, considering your concerns regarding the equipment.

Cheers Petra d.

Very nice image Chris.
Sharp as and the subtle toning really sets it apart from other images that I have seen. It gives a lovely soft effect, a truly beautiful vista.

Regards
Trevor
