Just a short note to say that although I have only recently joined IIS I have found it to be the best forum site on astronomy. Great topics great characters and great advice.

I have had a 130 mm Saxon reflector for some time and just upgraded to a 305 mm collapsible Dobsonian. What a difference! I have been going mad each evening and can't wait to get out again. Bearing in mind I live in Melbourne and you don't get to view the heavens every night.

Look forward to reading and participating in further topics and discussions.
