Exclamation Site updates: IceTrade Ad status

The forum has been updated. There are some extra 'features' in the new version but for the most part, the forums behave as before.

IceTrade changes:

When you create an Ad (or modify the Ad), you will need to select the status of the Ad (one of: "For Sale", "Sold" ,"Pending", "Withdrawn"). The Trade/Wanted forum contains the prefixes "Wanted" & "Trade". (You'll know what I mean when you create an Ad or edit it)

If I could ask people to continue letting the moderators know when your Ad is sold or withdrawn and also change the status of the Ad from "For Sale" to the appropriate status. It will make browsing IceTrade easier for all.

Everything should be working but let me know if anything is broken and I'll have a look at it when I get back in.

Cheers.

Terry - is the post edit timeout going to affect people trying to update the status by themselves a couple of weeks down the track?

Humayun: The favicon hasn't changed. I checked it on two other browsers and a mobile phone. The favicon appears as before.

Chris: IceTrade Ads can be edited for two months, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Hi Terry,

Yeah, it seems to be working fine from work. I might just need to give my browser a kick in the guts.

Thanks, mate.

Regards,
Humayun
