Ever had one of those weeks

Well, what can I say. Sydney had 4 lovely clear night from Wed-Sat last week and can you guess how many of those I got to get out and use the scope or camera. Yep thats right, not one.

Wed was my wifes birthday so I better not go out then.
Saturday night was the party in our backyard so that was out too. And because of the party I had to finish off some landscaping which took Thursday and Friday night. I'm sure you know how it feels when your out there doing one thing but looking up at the stars wishing you were doing something else.

So what happens once the party is over and I have free time again. You guessed it, cloud and rain forcast for quite a few days.

On top of that I didn't even get to go to the footy on Sat arvo.

Whats a man to do??? Maybe just surf the web now and see what other astro gear I could get for my birthday.

Please clear up this weekend....please.....I'm getting desperate.

Brett

Had guests who wanted to see the stars. Clear sky around sunset Sat, so set up the scope. Clouded over immediately and the scope spent the night under plastic while light rain fell! Forecast suggested cloud should have cleared later in the evening - it didn't all night.
