For anyone who has watched The Right Stuff will remember the press conference announcing the seven Mercury astronauts. If you don't recall it watch it again, then watch the real press conference at

Most of us have seen movies which have (over)dramatised real life and this is a part of movie making, but the comparisions, including the questions put to the seven astronauts, are interesting.
