observatory plans wanted.

Hi all,
i'm looking for observatry plans for a roll off roof observatory.
But would look at split roof too.
No bigger than 3x3 m or smaller.
I'm no bulider buy any means but can do light DIY!

There is so much on the net but I can't find a step by step guide to buliding one. I built one many years ago ( well I helped!) so I have some idea's!

So if you have step by step plans or know where I could get some please let me know. Thanks for any help.

Springer publishing have a book called Small Astronomical Observatories with lots of examples of private observatories. It is edited by Patrick Moore. The first edition is no longer available but the second edition includes a disc with a pdf copy of the first edition. Lots of great ideas in there. I saw the first edition in our local library and then bought the second edition. You might try a search at fishpond.com if you want to buy a copy.
