A dob photo of Jupiter
I have a newbie here with me who's taken this photo of Jupe with a CCD through his 12" dob, stacking with Registax. He thinks it's pretty oridnary. What do you guys think?
thanks

Beats my first attempt by a long way - plenty of details showing.
Taking a Dob image of Jupiter is how I got the imaging bug. Next came an EQ6 as I got sick of trying to manually keep it in the FOV. Then autoguiding, better cameras, more cables, mount upgrade.....
Still accumulating stuff I "need".
Good luck...

I fully appreciate how hard it is to capture images through a dob.
You've done very well indeed Niko.
