Hi Guys,

I just recieved a leaflet today at work about a star observing night at Tomaga house, Tomago Road, Tomago (NSW).

It called - "OUR SPACE - UNDER THE SOUTHERN CROSS"

Its an event organized by the Astronomical society of Hunter. On 17th April at 6.30pm

Tickets - $20 for adults and $15 for children. Finger food and juice provided followed by an informative talk by astronomer Col Maybury.

our space underthe southern cross was organized by the national trust ,hence having it at Tomago house not a bad spot on a dark night,the money would go to national trust for organising the evening tomago house is well worth a visit.Col should give a informative talk as he knows what he is talking about,just hope they have better weather than we are having now.thanks for the info.

Can anyone with a scope contirbute to show the public some sights on the night?

I love to get involved in these sort of public viewing nights.
If you let me know who to contact and advsie where Tomago is located, I may be able to attend with my scope.
