Old astronomy pictures.

I see some amazing images in this site and apart from my processing skills that require development am pretty happy every time an image arrives at the back of my camera/computer. A friend and I are giving a talk Friday week to a number of teachers and I am thinking about showing the increase in amature astronomers ability to capture stunning images of our universe for a moddest cost and then compare that to images that were being captured by large telescopes maybe 10 to 20 years ago. How long was that sentence. Would anyone be able to head me in the right direction to find some images as I have done google searches and am having no luck. I'm sort of thinking of showing an image taken now and showing what is possible compared with the 1m telescope or anysize taken in the past.

Thanks

Mark
