Pearing deep into the Lagoon

As I like to do ....these are extreme close-up crops of the Hourglass nebula inside the Lagoon Nebula. The original full frame image was a combination of 20min Red exposure with 30min of Halpha exposure.

I suspected the star next to the hourglass itself was double and a further zoom-in (and the Hubble image) confirmed this.

Of course as usual, this was taken at a modest wide field 1140mm FL

Now that`s a close look!
Made me look at your other Lagoon shots ex "The Heart of Lagoon"
Very nice! Can`t wait for these gems to get higher in the sky!
