Excellent Vincent, brilliant capture. I was out there too but my shutter wasn't fast enough so most are blurry.

Is the shuttle Discovery in the middle centre top of the structure?

I was wondering the same thing myself, Mike. I think it is... The bright area at top left looks like solar panels.

Actually, the middle centre top section looks more like the orbiter in the thumbnail!

Superb Vincent, great detail & colour! What were your shooting details on this, if you don't mind me asking? Thanks!

Cheers -

Thanks guys for looking. It is a single frame from the avi. Philips900nc with IR/UV filter with 2x barlow through 12"LB. Manually track with Telrad.I used 1/500 sec shutter speed. Mind you there was plenty of high clouds otherwise the image would be a lot brighter I suppose. Gain I think 60%; brightness about 70%. I was suppose to use 60fps but somehow it didn't allow me so I used 15fps. I have it captured on 3 frames will try stacking them tonight to see if I can get more detail out of them.I feel lucky.Cheers.

Using this image by Ralf V as a guide, I'm guessing the shuttle docks at the bottom somewhere near Kibo/Columbus?

Awesome work Vincent!

Think these are my favourite type of images. Keep 'em coming please

Quite inspired, manual tracking hey, always assumed you'd need a super duper mount for this.
